CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES! 🍓
Chocolate Covered Strawberries are delicious!
They make for a perfect treat, or for a perfect surprise gift for someone special!
How to:
1) Wash and pat dry your desired amount of strawberries. (if your strawberries aren't fully dry, the chocolate will not stick to them.)
2) Fill a saucepan with water, and let the water come to a boil.
3) Get a bowl (one that will withstand heat) and put it on top of the saucepan with the boiling water.
4) Next, pour a generous amount of chocolate chips, or chocolate melts into the bowl on top of the sauce pan.
5) The chocolate will now start melting. Grab a rubber spatula (or whatever you have at hands reach) and stir your chocolate until it fully melts and turns to a cream consistency.
6) Turn off your stove once the chocolate
has fully melted.
7)BEFORE you start dipping the strawberries, get a pan or plate and spread a piece of wax paper on it.
8)You can now start dipping your strawberries about 1/2 to 3/4 down.
9) IF you want the white drizzle effect as shown above, you can repeat the melting steps using white chocolate; then using a toothpick you can drizzle the white chocolate onto the existing chocolate.
10) When all the strawberries are complete, you can stick it in the fridge for about 30 minutes, or stick it in the freezer for 20 minutes.
11) After the chilling time is complete, DIG IN!
