FUNNEL CAKE!

FUNNEL CAKE! Funnel cake is a summer favorite and it is so delicious! Doesn't that picture make your mouth water? If you answered yes, and you want to make this delicious treat keep on reading!

Serving: Makes 5 Large Funnel Cakes

Ingredients:
๐Ÿ‘‰3/4 Cup Milk
๐Ÿ‘‰3 Eggs
๐Ÿ‘‰4-5 TBSP White Granulated Sugar
๐Ÿ‘‰3 TBSP Water
๐Ÿ‘‰1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
๐Ÿ‘‰2 1/4 TSP Baking Powder
๐Ÿ‘‰1/2 TSP Salt
๐Ÿ‘‰1 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
๐Ÿ‘‰Powdered Sugar for a topping!

Steps:
1. In a medium-large sized bowl, add in all of the wet ingredients: Milk, Eggs, Vanilla, and Water. Then whisk them together. (use a whisk instead of a spoon to get a thinner batter)
2. Next, add in the dry ingredients: Baking Powder, Salt, Sugar, and Flour.
3. Now that all of the ingredients are combined, whisk the batter until it is smooth, and thin!
4. Here's the fun part! To get better average, I emptied the batter into a measuring cup so I can pour the batter from the spout. Or you can pour your batter through a funnel, it is all up to you.
5. On to the cooking part! Pour about 2 1/2 cups of a cooking oil of your choice to fry the funnel cakes. Make sure that you preheat the oil for about 3-4 minutes to ensure the funnel cakes will cook thoroughly.
6. When pouring the batter into the oil, try getting as low as you can so the oil doesn't splash all over you. And you can make whatever shape you desire with the batter!
7. When the funnel cake is frying, flip it after 2 minutes or until golden brown. It should be fluffy and crispy at the same time.
8. You can wait for the funnel cake to cool for 1 minute, or you can just add the powdered sugar right away (I did mine right away). To apply the powdered sugar I used a sifter to add even coats of the sugar, or you can use a spoon!
9. Now you can enjoy this delicious boardwalk/carnival treat in the comfort of your own home!
